TERMS & CONDITIONS (Please Read Carefully)

By fitting the parts supplied you are agreeing to all the below terms & conditions

 

1: General

Title of goods shall remain with Portlaoise Diesel Ltd until full & final settlement.  Cash sales must be paid for at the time of sale. Credit accounts must be paid for within 30 days of invoice date. Invoices that are past due may be subject to a 10% late payment interest charge

 

2: Returns Policy

Goods returned “no longer required” are subject to handling charge. Goods returned after 21 days will not be accepted for credit.  Charges for normal stock items returned within 21 days of invoice: -10%. Electric components once seal on packaging is open shall not be credited.

 

3: Special Order Items

Require payment in advance will not be accepted for return e.g. no longer required

 

4: Fuel Pumps and Injectors

All fuel pumps and injectors returned “no longer required” will incur a handling charge. If fuel pump/injector has been fitted to a vehicle, there will be a retest charge (charge will vary depending on product)

 

5:Warranty on fuel pumps & injectors

Exchange/outright pump & injectors: - 12 months manufacturers from date of invoice.

New fuel pump & injectors; - 12 months manufacturers from date of invoice.

Reconditioned Units: - 6 months.

All exchange or new units must be returned to manufacturer for repair this process can take up to 8 weeks.

 

Important Notes

All warranty work MUST be carried out by ourselves. In the event of warranty claim on New or Exchange Pumps & Injectors all items must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty.  (This can take from a few days to 4-8weeks)

If the seals are broken on the pump/injector the warranty will be invalid, unless you have prior permission from us in writing to do so.

All items returned under warranty will be checked for evidence of contamination any presence of contamination will void all warranty claims.

Faulty products must be notified to us in writing at the time fault is detected.

​

Fuel pump/injectors returned under warranty that are found to have no fault will incur re-test charge.

​

Please contact us before returning fuel pumps and injectors. We may be able to help fix the problem without returning the product.

All pump/injectors returned to under warranty will be returned to you once the pump/injector is repaired.

​

Please bear this in mind if you are fitting a replacement pump or injectors.

​

It is not possible for us to re-sell pumps/injectors or any other parts that have been fitted to vehicles for several months and returned under warranty without fully reconditioning the pump/injector again, therefore we do not issue credit for pumps/injectors returned under warranty unless you have made previous arrangements with our workshop to do so.

​

Warranty does not cover any ancillary charges such as removal & refitting/ hire of vehicles etc as we are unable to recover these costs from OE suppliers.
